Durafloor Luxury Vinyl Flooring Tiles, or LVT, can be installed on various types of subfloor such as cement, porcelain, stone and ceramic, as long as the grooves are regular. We do not recommend the installation of Durafloor Vinyl Flooring on hardwood floors such as floorboards, parquet floors, wooden carpets, other vinyl floors, textile carpets and other floating floors. In these cases, the coating must be removed and a new base prepared.
Is it necessary to use underlayment when installing Durafloor Vinyl Flooring?
It is not necessary to use underlayment between the Durafloor Vinyl Floor and the subfloor, however, it must be leveled and without imperfections. If necessary, correct the subfloor before installation.
